(1) Do you rent your bikes out for other race days or organizations?
Answer: No, we currently support only SCminiGP because we believe that they have the best program that suits both our organization and our riders.
(2) Why should I rent your bikes instead of buying my own?
Answer: Lately more riders are renting the NSR50's from us for the entire race season as an alternative to buying one on their own at $3000.00 plus because it's more cost effective. Why pay a monthly payment loaded with interest when we charge pretty much the same price as the interest only that you would have to pay anyway, plus we put up with the depreciation, small damages, fuel, repairs and transportation!
(3) What happens if I rent one of your bikes and at the races I get asked to do a tear down because they suspect the bike is violating the racing rules?
Answer: Let them tear it down and collect the money because our bikes are stock and completely legal.
(4) How fast are your bikes and can a new rider ride them without any trouble?
Answer: These bikes are smaller versions of race bikes. They are all very easy to ride and only your right hand twisting the throttle can make things faster. Go slow, and you will be slow and safe. Twist that right hand and the fun truly begins. Its up to you as to how fast you want to go.
(5) Do you charge a "deposit" for the bikes?
Answer: Currently we do not. In the future we will be charging $250.00 as a deposit.
(6) How are "damages" to the bike calculated?
Answer: We are very flexible when it comes to charging any fees for damages. As an example, we have riders who have crashed our bikes over 10 times and they have not been changed any fees. These bikes are very tough, you would have to have a very serious crash for there to be any damages and even then, we would most likely work something out that would be fair for everyone.
(7) On track days, do the riders ride all the different bikes or are you "assigned" one bike to ride for the entire day?
Answer: Track days are set up with the intention of any rider being able to ride any bike that we have at the track that day. Most riders find a favorite bike and stay with it after sampling all the different bikes.
(8) What happens if it rains?
Answer: We race or ride, rain or shine. There may be that one special occasion where we offer the rider some kind of partial credit or discount due to the weather, but that would be Dragginit's decision.
(9) Are your bikes competitive?
Answer: Our bikes are very well maintained and are extremely competitive. Currently we have two full season renters/riders that are #1 in the standings. We also have others that rent on occasion yet still find their way onto the podium.
(10) Do you offer a discount if I rent more than one bike at a time and if I want to rent a bike in advance for several events?
Answer: YES, we offer very attrative discounts to multi-bike and long term renters.
(11) Do you sell off your rentals at some point and where will the bikes be listed?
Answer: Yes, we will be selling our rental stock at some point, and when we do, the bikes will be listed in our classifieds section on our site.
(12) I have kids that want to ride your bikes, will they be required to sign something, if so, what will they be signing?
Answer: ALL riders are required to sign a release form and a rental agreement. These documents are required so we both understand that what you are doing is VERY dangerous. Racing motorcycles has risks, it's not as safe as playing chess! The release form states that YOU are fully aware of the risks you are taking and that Dragginit in no way withheld the risks associated with this activity. The Rental agreement is more or less a standard rental agreement. These documents along with our business license are posted in our traiiler and EVERY rider is required to sign these documents, NO EXCEPTIONS! Minors are required to sign AND their parents must also sign these documents before they are pemitted to ride ANY of our motorcycles, again NO EXCEPTIONS!
(13) What CAN'T I and what CAN I do on the bikes?
Answer: We rent race bikes, so please feel free to race our bikes and give yourself every opportunity at winning the race. Our motto is "race it like you rented it!" What we do not want is our bikes being used as "pit bikes". Riding our bikes around the pits puts unnecessary wear and tear on the bikes, and it makes other riders upset, which hurts our intent and degrades our image. Stunt riding is also not permitted. Ride them as hard and you feel comfortable doing so, but please ride them on the race track only!
(14) Are you accepting advertising or sponsorship at this time?
Answer: We would be open to the idea if the right deal was to be presented to us!
(15) Rumor has it that you guys will be having mini-motards available to rent, if so when?
Answer: Yes, we are very excited to announce that we will have these bikes availble for rentals very soon, perhaps as soon as our next track day on Oct 30th. The bikes have been ordered and are in route. As soon as we test and prepare them for our riders, they will be made available. check back often for an official announcement and don't miss your chance to get your hands on one of these awesome minis!
(16) I am hearing that you guys are only racing on the pavement portion of the tracks, why not both like the real boys?
Answer: Yes, at first we will be racing only on the pavement portions. SCminiGP is a Gran Prix racing organization and we believe that Supermoto does not fit the organizations layout...HOWEVER, we are currently in the planning stage of possibly having a sister company or something of the sort that will cater specifically to this type of racing, and may even include some motocross for our mini fans! This will be a grand organization as it will have all of the great attributes that makes racing with SCminiGP so much fun, but it will cater specifically to this segment of the racing public. We hope to have something to present to our racing fans soon. In the meantime, come out and enjoy the fun of running these mini beasts around on our track days and find out how much fun it is to race with SCminiGP.
(17) I hear you guys may be renting scooters, what kind and how much?
Answer: Yes, we are planning on renting out scooters. We believe it's the best way to help with the traffic in the pits. More details and pricing will be available shortly. As of now we know the price will be around $12.00 - $20.00 depending on the model. We will also be offering our rental students an added discount for renting the scooter when they rent any of our motorcycles. Stay tuned for more information once we have it available.
Update: the scooters are available now and are for rent and for sale. We have 450 watt (very fast) electric scooters and 33cc gas scooters made by the best scooter manufacture in the world, BLADEZ!! The electrics will rent for $10.00 and they have a range of 6 miles, plenty for the entire day. The gas scooters rent for $15.00 and are a little faster than the electrics. Reserve your scooter at the same time that you rent your bike.
The sale prices will be $399.00 for the electrics and $425.00 for the 33cc gas.
We also have our previous rental scooters available for sale. They have very little use and are as close to new as used scooters get. The Electric scooters are not affected by by used, so buying new ones are sort of a waste of money. The Gas ones are affected a little more but they are still in GREAT condition and have our full backing.
The sale prices for our previously used ones are $199.00 both electric or gas, now that's a deal!
(18) Are you guys a Pitster Dealer? How much for the Pitster Pro?
Answer: Yes, we are now a Pitster Dealer. We will be blowing these things out at an incredibly low price so we can get them on the track to help grow our new racing classes. Prices will be made avaiable once we work out the details with all the parties involved...but believe us when we say...they will be very reasonable!
Update: For a limited time, we will be selling brand new 2006 Pitster Pro's for $1,649.00 plus tax to all of our SCminiGP members. You will not find a better deal for one of the best Pitbikes in the business. Contact us with your request.
